THE CONCEPT OF CPT:
CPT is an innovative and interactive theatre-method to meet any social issues. CPT allows the audience to work together to develop their own skills in various stated type of situations.

CPT has the theoretical background in the pedagogics of Paulo Freire as well as the framework of Augusto Boal. We use the improvisional techniques by Keith Johnstone and the basics of scriptwriting by Konstantin Stanislavskij.

The CPT-methodology are divided in three interactive theatre methods.

  • “IDT” Interactive Design Theatre.
  • “IFT” Interactive Form Theatre and
  • “ISW” Interactive Script Writing.

These methodologies always state two scenarios.
The first scenario highlights the worst-case end scenario about an issue or a conflict for the audience to reflect upon.
The second scenario, allows the audience to interact together with the actors to improve the situations, to find a better solution or a healthier situation according to the first scenario worst- case end. Note, the audience never enters the stage.
