APAJH 38 is a non-profit organization intervening in Isère (France). They are working for the inclusion of persons with disabilities into the communities and manage the services and institutions dedicated to that purpose. They support around 700 persons, adults and children. APAJH has 300 employees for this purpose.

L’APAJH 38 is developing an expertise in the support of young adults with autism and proposes since October 2014 an innovative service to support them at home. This new service is done to help them to develop a sustainable project of to promote independent living and provide advocacy to communicate their wishes and needs.

The team is multi-disciplinary: educators, nurses, psychologists and will be trained on several fields:

  • Individual requirements and characteristics of people with autism
  • expert training on the subject
  • Direct support
